Safety Dance Workshop @ IVFDF

Date: February 25, 2018

Location: IVFDF 2018

More practical details will follow when I know them as it is still too early for the festival programme to be finalised.

In this workshop we’ll look at how to craft and put into practice a code of conduct for your dance event, to make sure the dancefloor is a safe space. We’ll discuss why you might want to do this, common pitfalls and how to surmount them, and share our thoughts and experiences on this topic. This will be mainly a talking and thinking workshop — especially useful for organisers and callers.
